Update to self
Things are going well. Got rehired at my old job doing something I enjoy a lot more than what I used to do. Continuing my education through online courses, much better than my living situation was back where I was. Had to learn that I can't handle too many huge changes at once, I end up buried. I recently plopped down 2500 towards a new computer and a wide screen monitor. Paid off all my debts from last year, and am in the blue again. Expensive lesson both personally and financially, but I'm a better person for it. Lots of big things coming up for me in the next year, will be interesting to see how it goes. This is the longest I've been single since I was 18, and I'm learning to enjoy it. There are ups and downs, but for the most part, a lot less drama :) | | Thursday, July 5th, 2007 | | 4:44 pm |

Well my relationship with Ashley is dead. Not my fault this time, unlike my last relationship. Well I guess it has to be partially my fault, takes two people in a relationship. Update
Been awhile since I have posted here so figured I would just to leave a memory for myself. Life is going well right now. Working as a tutor for 20 an hour at my old job, helping kids pass the exit exam/with their algebra. I just received a few checks, the added flow of income was nice. $564 from my fed tax return, $120 from my state and $1300 from an overpayment to college. With my new found extra cash and the new flow from my job, I'm going to buy a nice new computer chair, and save the rest for a rainy day. Right now romantically life is interesting right now. Have been seeing a young lady for awhile now, she lives in Ukiah, about an hour from me. Was hard when I was living down in Rohnert Park, only saw her a hand full of times while I was there. Since I have been back here for the last month, I have spent a lot more time with her. Her name is Ashley, and she and I are good friends. She has her negatives and positives just like any human being, and usually the positives outweight the negatives. She is quick tempered, can take offense at a lot of things, and HATES it when I mention other women. She seems to be pretty jealous when it comes to me. It's good and bad, she takes offense even if i say, "That woman has big boobs." about a celebrity. Besides that, she's great. Funny, warm, share a lot of likes and dislikes. On the other hand, a new girl started working at my job. Her name is Crystal, she's 23 or 24. She's cute, and has that slightly nerdy thing going on that is quite hot. She has apparently been asking about me to several people, and I didn't quite realize it but was flirting with me now that I think back on it. She and I were talking about a movie, and she said she would love to go see it, and I said I want to go see it, and she looked up the times and I think that was an opening where she wanted me to ask her, but I was rather oblivious to it. Unless a woman hits me over the head, especially at work, I dont view them as anything in the realm of possibility of romance. Today, I helped my mom out. She was getting stressed/wore out/frustrated about a buncha things going on around her house. She needed to clean out her fish pond, and the pump blew out a circuit in the house and she couldnt figure out how to fix it. Her phone wasnt working, and she was rather.. flustered. So I drained her pond for her with a bucket, and it sucked some heavy ass. Leaning over, pulling water out of a pond 2 or 3 feet below ground level. Then having to get on my knees on the jagged ass big rocks surrounding it, draging water out of it. Took about an hour. Then I fixed her phone, and a neighbor showed her a hidden circuit reset button thingy that she had that she didn't know. Anyways, im done with my report, signing off for now. EARTHQUAKE(s)!
Well last night I was woken up at 3:47 by an earthquake. It woke me half up from the shaking, then fully up when my budgies started to scream and fly around. I was deciding if i should get out of bed when the second, bigger one hit. Well, after flailing around to find my glasses, I got out of bid and went outside. Having to pee, i went around to a tree in my front yard and started to pee, when John, kid across the street, popped out of his RV and said, "Was that a quake?" and I replied, "Two of em." Finished up, went inside and promptly stepped on a slug that exploded all over my leg like a juicy melon would. 90210 drama
So there is a teacher here at work that I REALLY like personally. He was my teacher in high school, and has been teaching at the school I teach at for some time now. Well, his twin sons are going to this school at the moment, and one of them loves to hang around me. Every friday I leave during my prep period to pick up pizza for the club that i'm advisor for, and I take along two of the kids, the son of the teacher (His name is Ryan) and the son of a board member (His name is Jeff, his moms a friend of the families). Well, Ryan told me several years ago that he and all of his brothers are not his Father's children as he had his tubes cliped in the 70's. Apparently his mom enjoys running around on his father quite a bit. Don't know why his dad put up with it, but whatever. Last week, Ryan told me that he thinks his Mom is having an affair with the Democratic district suprivisor. He seemed pretty upset about it, but there wasnt much i could say or do really as I didnt think this was seriously true. Well today my Mom was had a breakfast Saturday with some retired teachers, one of who is a good friend of hers. He's also the chair of the democratic party for this county. He told her that the Democratic District Suprivisor has fallen out of favor because hes having another affair, but they didnt know with whom, and that the democrats were going to back someone else this election. The guy is a known ladies man, and lost his first wife by cheating on her. Well, that opened up a big can of worms, and I let her know what I heard. She knew about the cheating she did before, and does not like the Teacher's wife at all. The teacher is a great guy, and the wife is just a fuggin psycho. Dream
I had a dream that was rather intense and emotional, as in it was very sad yet loving at the same time with a splash of guilt. I was involved with a girl (Ebby) who was very sweet and funny and cool. I remember part of the dream where she was jogging, and I was following her and she asked me if I could keep up. I told her, "I may not be able to go as fast as you, but I can go further than you." I believe that was a metaphore for something else entirely. Anyways, apparentlyh the Sheryn I was dating was playing the other Sheryn of my dream who I referred to as Akeelah, in a movie. Since I knew the real Akeelah, she wanted to know all about her. So i asked her if she wanted to meet her, and she got very excited. So we jogged up to my house, apparently the childhood house where both Akeelah and I grew up nearly like brother and sister (My mom and dad raised us both in the dream). When I knocked on the door, Akeelah's friends answered. I ignored them, and went right up to Akeelah (Who was Sheryn) and hugged her tight. I asked her what was wrong because she was crying, and she said that our mom had died. So I was upset, hugging her, kissing her face, etc. And the other Sheryn was being the most annoying person you could ever imagine, interupting us in our grief, asking stupid questions, etc, trying to get our attention, especially mine. I told her that she needed to go, our mother had just died, and all she could think about was her movie. So she looked very hurt, and walked out of the house. Then Akeelah leaned in and whispered to me that she forgot how to dance in a sad little voice, and I whispered back to her that I will teach her. Then the dream kinda got strange, I was apparently creating artwork to auction off to raise money for a cancer charity, the same charity my mom had worked hard for and it was the same cancer she had. Then I woke up at 6am and I really REALLY had to pee. Was an emotional dream, woke up all sad yet happy. Interesting dream. So i had this dream that I was having a threeway with Sheryn and Sheryn. One was the Sheryn I knew on the net and phone, the other was the Sheryn I know in real life. I had an interesting dream. I was in oklahoma visiting Sheryn. I disliked it a lot as it was hot and muggy. There were some people from Santa Rosa there, and i struck up a conversation with them. Then it got a bit strange as time started jumping forward, and she and I ended up getting married, i proposed in front of a bunch of relatives and she melted like a puddle of goo. And then it started to get strange. She was having an affair with another woman because I didn't like her cooter and the other woman did, and I can tell you what, that was some graphic lesbian sex. And then she was in a wheelchair and she told the people that was visiting with us that they needed to leave because the politicians were going to end the world and they needed to go spend the time with people they love, and then sheryn and I went into the house and banged like stoned test monkeys. MMmmmmm
Sheryn arrived Saturday :) Drew and I drove down to Sacramento, stopping at Sams club to pick up candy for work. (He got lost on the way). So we picked up 500 dollars in candy, and drove over to the airport, ariving at about 5. Waited around the terminal, people watching. I was the nervous/anxious/excited stage, watching every woman that came down the stairs. Went upstairs to watch for her, when we saw this black woman in a hootchie skirt, and Drew asked if it was her. I said no, he then said, "Because if it is she can stay at MY house." I saw Sheryn wandering down the hallway, looking at signs, etc. I approached her, she saw me, smiled and we gave eachother a hug. We walked back to the car, nervous as hell, and making small talk after we got back into the van. Decided to go out to dinner so we could talk a bit, and headed to a mexican joint. Drew drove to the wrong place cuz he's Drew, then got lost for an hour trying to get to the other place. By the time we got there, Sheryn and I were both tired (I had to get up at 6am to take an exam that morning) and it was around 7pm by the time we got seated at the resteraunt. Sheryn said she really wasnt hungry, but once we got there she cleaned off her plate, and ate all the rice that I didn't want :) On the way home, she fell asleep in the back of the van, and Drew and i stopped twice to get drinks and gas on the way home. I wont go into any personal details, but she and I shared a lot of moments that night, and it was wonderful to finally be able to hold her in my arms and look into her eyes. Anyways the last week has been great. We have gone to several movies, cooked together, drove around, gone out to lunch, etc. We are going shopping on friday, and today I'm going to take her to see bottlerock road and collect some obsidian. It's going to really be hard on both of us when she leaves. But for now im just going to enjoy the time we have together, and try to plan the next time I can see her. Christmas is the time of year for cooking and hanging out with friends... well, mainly cooking
Let's see, a long time since I updated. Tommorrow is my christmas party for work. Having it at my moms house. Been cooking all morning to get ready for it (It's a potluck but the host house tends to provide a lot of things). I'm baking a cheesecake, buffalo wings and bbq wings with blue cheese dipping sauce and an orange dipping sauce. Jalapeno poppers with an awesome filling I invented (Feta, cheddar cheese, bacon crumbled, and cream cheese). Also doing Deviled eggs, and my world famous spinach dip. So far, I put together the cheesecake (It's in the oven now), I'm defrosting the wings to get em ready to fry tommorrow. Hallowed out the two kinds of jalapenos I got, (One is actually a wax pepper, it's very mild, and the jalapenos are medium heat). My hands are burning a bit from the oil. Defrosting the spinach for the spinach dip, boiled the eggs and they are getting cold until I'm ready to do em tommorrow. So, so far I have to 1. Make the topping for the cheesecake and apply when it's cooled down (has to bake for 4-5 hours) 2. Fill the poppers tonight, bread and fry em tommorrow. 3. Put together my orange dipping sauce (Mayo, dijon mustard, orange peel and orange juice) 4. Shell the eggs, make the filling (tommorrow) 5. Throw together the Spinach Dip when it's defrosted About half of my work is done, the rest of it goes pretty fast. Watching my new baby budgies play and groom eachother, its really sweet how they care for one another as they are brothers and sisters. Going to work on my campaign for gaming, for when Drew and Nick are over. It will be fun, but once again im stuck with DMing cuz the other two suck behind at it. (No imagination for Nick, and Drew just isn't very good at putting together a fun campaign) Listening to the sound track for "O brother where art thou" at the moment. My weekend
Went to Ft. Brag this weekend. Left Friday afternoon with Drew. Stopped at the stationary store, bought some pencils and paper (I get a 30-75 percent discount) and stuff for gaming. Then we went to the bank (it was closed) for Drew... proceeded to drive to Ukiah (45 minute drive). Got there, went to Walmart, where drew proceeded to buy some socks and jeans. (I don't think he brought anything for a 3 day weekend. I brought 2 bags, 1 of clothes the other of books). Well, he wanted to eat, I wanted to wait till we got to Ft. Brag, so we could go to a nice resteraunt there. Well, he complained and we ended up at Applebees. I had a salad, he had chicken and mashed potatos. We stopped at the grocery store, and bought around 100 dollars in junk food. We got literaly everything we could think of. Funyuns, Sour cream and onion ruffles, a couple pounds of reeses pieces, Doughnuts, crumb donnettes, Cool ranch doritos, tortilla chips, 7-up, pepsi, water, whoppers, Jerky, more sour cream and onion, Green onion sunchips, sour cream and onion ritz chips, KCBBQ lays, 2 bags of peppered beef jerky, apples oranges grapes and bananas, sandwich rolls... I think that's it, but there's probably more (It was 2 trips, we made one when we got there to fill in holes of stuff eaten) So, we drove to Ft. Brag, it's on the northern coast of california. Got there, and headed to Nick's house (hour drive from Ukiah) His mom's house is awesome, 4 bedrooms, so we all got our own beds. She has a huge back yard, and it's only about a 5 minute walk from the beach. You can hear the ocean from where she lives, the waves pounding. Nick and Drew and I talked for awhile, his mom served us some really inedible sausage/egg/cheese/bread dish (I ate some to be polite. It was BAD) for dinner, gamed a little bit, took a walk down to the beach and talked some more. Walked back, and played a bit more before I went to sleep at midnight. Drew and Nick went to denny's and drank more, they got to bed several hours later. The next day we finished setting up our campaign, pigged out on junk food and sandwiches. Nick's "girlfriend/friend" and her 13 year old son arrived (It was his birthday, and we were going to introduce him to gaming and bought the crap food mainly for him). Well, the kid was really cool, his name is Cody. Smart, funny, hyperactive turd, but nice and respectful for someone that age. We played awhile, (His mom was supposed to play, but she didnt want to. Pissed me off as it was supposed to be 5 players). Later that night, wet set up a firepit in the backyard to roast marshmallows, and for nick to have some really lame ceremony for the boy where he gave him a tonto (Knife). Now, this whole thing pissed me off and made me uncomfortable, as this woman is married, and she and nick are fucking around together. I think introducing your son to the guy you are cheating with on your husband, is a scummy, bad thing. Well, we finished up the night with some more gaming, the kids mom got drunk, and passed out in Nicks bed. Nick at least made a show of sleeping in the chair out in thel iving room. The next morning we gamed a bit more (I took over, Nick couldn't GM his way out of a sock). Dinner
Well, tonight I was in a cooking mood (cable was out so I had plenty of time) so I decided to make a nice dinner. Well, 4 hours later... and I have a nice honey glazed spiral cut ham (on the bone), rolls from the oven, green beans- steamed, and cheesy and wonderfully good scalloped potatoes. (everything from scratch of course) Everything turned out extremely well, and im stuffed. Sometime's you have to treat yourself to a nice dinner. Today
I hate hypocrites. Another teacher made a comment to the kids about the fact that I wasnt at work until 8. She said, to the kids, that I was supposed to be there at 7:30. She is 100% correct. Today I was late, I got there at 8. It doesn't happen often, but it happens. Yet this is the same woman who left 2 and a half hours early TODAY. After saying that. The reason I know what she said? Well the kids in her class told me. They were working in the candy store with me today. They commented that she's mean, and they told me what she said. This woman leaves at 2-2:30 every day. 1-1:30 on wednesdays when we have a shortened day. She is supposed to be there until 3:30. She also asks me to cover for her constantly. She takes 10-20 minute bathroom breaks during class every period. I have never said anything to anyone, because I don't care what other people do. I figure we all are adults and can figure out what we have to do. As long as we get our job done, no harm. Yet she made these comments, and it really pissed me off. She acts all sunshine and rainbows to my face, and does this shit constantly behind my back. Bleh Anyways, next... Got home at around 2:30 today (today was a short today)Stopped at the store, bough stuff for dinner tonight. Cooked for 3 hours, made brocolli beef and chicken chow mein. Turned out really well (The brocolli beef takes about 30 minutes, the chow mein takes forever) Dinner was good, had to baby sit Paige today. She threw a fit as I told her she couldnt have friends over while i was watching her. She argued after she came from her room, so she had another time out. I don't care what her father says, if he's not home, and I'm watching her, it's my rules. Well the mexican kids next door, their shitty little rat dog burrowed under the fence and killed one of my moms chickens. It's one of those ugly little chihuahua's. If i see the thing on her property I'm going to break it's neck. She has lost 3-4 chickens to various dogs of theirs. No more Mr. nice guy. dream
omg i deleted this entry as i was posting it. I dreamed that i was in Oklahoma visiting sheryn, and i was at her work but it was a walmart or something. Well i was hanging with two of her friends, one was tall and big, heavy set but not fat, the other guy was shorter, with fucked up teeth, sorta looked like a weasel, and they were boyfriends. Well we were hanging out, and for some reason the big guy squirted maple syrup at me and i decided to leave, but then he got all concerned because he thought i was mad, but i wasnt, i just wanted to find shern. Well I bought a couple things, I dont know what, and then I walked over to the register, where the gay guys had some girls that were flirting with them. Well, then I remember singing, and i sang really well for some reason, and I sung white christmas I think. Well then, I remember sitting on a bench, closing my eyes, knowing i was in oklahoma and thinking all these thoughts about getting mugged, etc, cuz i had money and i was alone on a bench but i wasnt very worried about it cuz im big. Then sheryn got off work, and I had a feeling she had to go to work like an hour away... and then we were back home, and she was asleep and I just woke up and i was talking to the gay guys cuz they were apparently our roomates, and one of them called me a "virgin" and i said, "Well you are a virgin in the traditional sense." and then the other gay guys laughed. Well, they apparently ate a hot dog of mine from the fridge, and some other food of mine, and he offered to pay me a dollar but i turned it down cuz it was only a hot dog.
